So many friends and so many wonderful times with Ike as our hockey leader. Well known throughout the region, Ike was one of a special group of Hockey Godfathers to build the Edina Hockey Dynasty. Always cheerful and smiling, he coached with a firmness that players could depend on. The chain of hockey coaches in the youth organization had Ike's imprint with a drive toward success building the dynasty of Edina Hornet Hockey. He will be remembered for his firm grip, honest opinion, modeling leadership, and his tweed derby. Iconic, friendly, and honest. Ike's the real deal. The hockey community of Minnesota and beyond will miss him, but will always remember the indelible mark he made on so many young players and their parents. Gods speed and Bless you, Ike.
