Charles "Chuck" Lee Reynolds passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 8, 1944, in St. Paul, MN, Chuck was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Jacqueline; his parents, Tom and Evelyn; and his brother, Bob Reynolds. Chuck, affectionately known as "Bapa," is survived by his children, Kari (George) Haeger and Paul (Amie) Reynolds; and his cherished grandchildren, Isabella (Jack) Vermedahl, Nicklaus (Nikki) Haeger, Noah Haeger, and Logan and Paige Reynolds.
He attended South St. Paul High School and went on to North Dakota State University on a football scholarship. After one year, he transferred to St. Cloud State to be with his future wife, Jacqueline. He earned a degree in education and taught math for 19 years in the Robbinsdale School District. Chuck loved teaching and maintained a lifelong passion for learning-often watching the Discovery Channel, History Channel, and National Geographic.
Following his teaching career, Chuck transitioned into the stock and bond business, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of close friends. He treasured time at the family cabin in Webb Lake, WI-especially pontoon rides, bonfires, and being outdoors. Winters were often spent in Fort Myers, FL, relaxing near the water and enjoying the beach.
Chuck was the family's biggest cheerleader and a steadfast source of strength and support. He will be remembered most for his resilience, wisdom, and deep love for his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, 5000 West 50th & Hwy 100, Edina, MN. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service, with lunch following the service.
