William (Billy) Edward Jennings suddenly passed away due to health complications at the age of 60 on January 24, 2025.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents James and Carolyn. He is survived by his three siblings Alana, Jewel, and Andre; five children Billie Mae, Troy, Chantel, Audrey, and Valerie; and seven grandchildren.
Billy was born on December 16, 1964 in Muncie, Indiana to James Jennings and Carolyn (Walker) Jennings. He went on to marry Diane (Anderson) Jennings at Bonneyville Mill on September 3, 1988. They raised their family in Goshen, Indiana for 18 years. In the later years, Billy and Diane resided in Muncie, Indiana.
Billy was an avid deer hunter and fisherman who loved spending time in nature and with his family. Billy was well-known for his sense of humor and contagious laugh - he loved to make others smile. He is remembered as a peacemaker, hard worker, and for his unwavering generosity. Whether it was a kind word, his last dollar, or literally the coat off his back Billy always freely gave and did it with joy in his heart. Most recently, Billy dedicated his life to Jesus. He spent much of his final days sharing his love for the Lord, in prayer, reading the Bible, and watching The Chosen. He will be greatly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
A celebration of Billy's life will be held at Great News Baptist Church at 101 East 22nd Street in Muncie, Indiana on Saturday, February 8th at 10:30 AM.
