William "Bill" Pritchard

William "Bill" Pritchard, 84, of Raleigh, NC, went to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, October 12th, surrounded by his loving family. He was eager for his transition to be with loved ones that had made the journey before him.
Bill was a retired Inventory Control Manager from Exide Electronics and a former Sunday school teacher at Trinity Baptist Church. In his high school days at Millbrook, Bill was affectionally known on his football team as, "Speedy Billy". Bill and Lena are long standing members of Millbrook United Methodist Church, where they are blessed with many dear friends in the community. Bill, an avid fisherman, enjoyed spending his vacations at Ocean Isle Beach in his family's home, with his children and later his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lena, their four children and spouses, Sheri and Lincoln Hassell (Matt and Kristen), Becky and Randy Thomas (Vaughan and Jessica), Steve and Donna Pritchard (Chris and Zach), and Barbara and Matt Shuey (Kolt, Sierra, and Kaede), as well as ten great-grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his brother, Charlie and his wife Elaine.
