Super Dad, Dog Dad, Grandfather, Uncle, Husband and Friend.
William Albert Probst the 3rd, "Billy Bob" died on June 02, 2022, at his home, after a long and horrific battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by his children and his longtime girlfriend and caregiver, Peggy.
Billy loved singing, dancing, and making people laugh. Fiercely loyal with a huge heart, he was the guy you'd call to help bury a body, judgement free.
Billy was a LEO, life of the party. Born on August 12, 1949, Billy ran a successful masonry business for over 40 years and was well known throughout his town of East Fishkill, where he resided his whole life. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent most of his time hunting, fishing, golfing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with friends at the gun club.
Son of Gertrude and William Probst. Father to Liisa, Billy, Shane, Brittany and his dog Buster.
He will be so missed!
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a graveside service on Friday at 10am at Fishkill Rural Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 9:15am for the procession to the cemetery.
