The family of the late William Arthur Tucker Sr. regrets to inform you of his passing on Sunday, February 13, 2022. He died of natural causes at the age of 90. He was one of 13 children to the parents of Mary Magdalene & George Clifton Brown. William was a proud native of "little Washington" but later moved to Philadelphia & Virginia. He was a Christian, Korean War veteran, husband, father, 32nd degree mason & retired federal employee of the Department of Treasury.
Mr. Tucker's memorial service will take place graveside on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10am at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, 161 Avon Ave. Mr. Tucker's late wife Barbara Payne Tucker preceded his death on September 2020 during the worst time of the covid pandemic. This made it impossible to have services for her. William & Barbara Tucker were united for over 54 years and will be celebrated together on Saturday.
Condolences and greetings will be received immediately after the service at 6183 Clark's Neck Rd. The home of Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Brown. The entire family requests that you lift them up in prayers and positive thoughts at this time.
