Cindy,
I am sorry to read of your Dad's passing. His amazing service and dedication were amazing. So was your steadfast care of him until his passing. May his memory be a blessing.
I have shared his experiences in the book written in his honor with many. All were in awe of what he accomplished.

Cindy, Pat and families, Tom and I were so sorry to hear about Uncle Hon´s death. We will not be able to make the viewing and funeral, but please know we will be with you in spirit.
It has been a blessing that your Dad lived to see and experience the many acknowledgments of his importance and part in ending the war. He was always a quiet, humble, and talented man. We will always remember him with fond memories. We plan to make a donation in his memory. Big hugs to all of you!

Dear Smoyer Family,
It's a sad day to see that Clarence has passed. I knew Clarence and Melba through my mother, Jean and her husband Monroe (a long-time friend). I loved hearing about his time in Europe and that day in Cologne. He was a very lucky hero. It was nice bowling with him and the group! They were a very nice couple and fun to be with. We send you our deepest sympathies.
Always sincerely,
Jean Peter and Peggy Peters
