Rodney Samples Obituary
Evansville, Ind. - Rodney Brad Samples, 53, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019, at his home.
Rodney was born in Henderson, Kentucky on April 13, 1966, to the late Shirley and Helen (Rice) Samples. He served in the United States Army. Rodney loved building things and was an excellent carpenter. He was a talented artist and very creative. Rodney was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a wonderful story teller, had a great sense of humor, and a big heart. Rodney will be missed deeply.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 22 years, Bonita ( Daniels) Samples of Evansville, IN; daughters, Dana Benson (Jessica) of Philpot, KY, and Myah Samples of Evansville,IN; sons, Kevin Samples (Crystal) of Corydon, KY, and Anthony Lauders of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Rayleigh, Jayden, Ethan, Molly, Kane, Ahleyah, Titan, Tyrron, Kaedyn, Ameyah, and Javier; siblings, Julie Benson, Mark Samples, Jack Samples, Mike Samples, and Gary Samples.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rick Dekker.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rodney's family to assist with final expenses.

Rodney and I worked together Many Years. I'm sorry to hear of his passing, he was a delight to be around. My prayers are with his wife and kids. Though his passing is very unfortunate, I know he is in Gods hands now. Rodney and I had many talks about God and our eventual passing and what where we would go then. We had driven hundreds of miles together talking about life. A talented individual. Rest In Peace Rodney.
