My heart warms when you come to my mind, Matt. You were a shining light at Strozier Library. Thank you forever for your steady friendship. Sending love to you, your family, and friends.

Matt and I entered employment at FSU Libraries the same year, 2009. We spent enjoyable chats hearing about his weekend farming, delivering and raising lambs. That's how gentle Matt was, like a lamb. You are dearly missed buddy. One day we'll all head out to the Happy Hour in the sky. Love, Jane

Just can't say enough about such a wonderful man. Matt had a heart of gold and a genuine and sincere love of life. His upbeat and loving nature was contagious. God has been delivered a special angel. Matt, we love you and will miss you dearly.

Matt was an asset for the PLAN organization, where he served on the Board of Directors and was a two-term Board President. He worked with me when I first started at PLAN, when we took on the priority of improving the organization's financial status. That was a project that was very successful because of his dedication and quick grasp of the situation. Matt was always kind and humorous and I think all of us that worked with him loved joining in his good-natured humor. He will be missed by all knew and worked with him. May God bless him.
