Well hello there I know It's been awhile but I have been thinking about you from time to time. Missing you very much. My mom and I still talk about how much of a wonderful person you were to us. The kids are getting older and Eric and I are finally married and will be expecting our first child together. I know that you would be very proud of me If you were still here. But I know that you are looking down at me with a smile. I love and miss you very much dad... In my eyes you were my dad..

As you know Joseph is growing up so fast...i know your up in heaven just smiling down at him. We all miss you so much. All I can do is imagine how proud you would be with all of us. You were always an insperation to continue trying and to try our best. I just miss you so much. Joseph still says "grandpa" while holding and kissing your picture... it breaks my heart, I wish that you were here to hold him tight and talk to him. I fell asleep last night thinking of my dad. I miss his deep voice and his bear roar which was his normal snore. I remember when we would go camping and the people from the neighboring sites would come over to see what was making that loud noise. They would see my dad sleeping outside, without shelter, without blankets. He would sleep on a cot at the foot of his truck in just his shorts. He never got cold. In the mornings, he would tell us stories of critters who came to see him; bear cubs, racoons, coyote, fox, and squirrels. We thought he was so brave. yea, I really miss him.

Happy Birthday Dad. This is also my first Birthday since your passing. I'm 25 tomorrow and I remember last year. We went to eat at a chinese place and we just happened to pass a carnival in a nearby parking lot. I ran into the Kmart and bought a disposible camera. You looked at me funny but you went along with it.. we played games and you won some toys. You smiled and we posed and took pictures with the carnies. Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to me. Your Birthday yesterday, My birthday tomorrow. That's the way we do it!

Dear Victoria,

I hope this note finds you at peace with the passing of your loving Dad. Please know that you are a living tribute to your father. I didn't get the opportunity to meet him but I knew him through you. I know he was a kind man--because you are kind. I know he was a generous person--because you are generous with your affection, your finances and your time. I know he had a sense of humour--because you're quiet humour is off the hook! What a joy he must have been because you are a joy to have as a friend. You, Celeste, and Alexia will carry on his traditions and be his living legacy.

My deepest condolences Victoria, to you and your family.

With Lots of Love & Affection,

Ruth

Hey Dad, thanks for the snickers. I was very hungry at work, you must have known. I turned the corner and I glanced at the candy machine. There lying in the tray was your favorite candy bar, Snickers.

Dad. I'm sad that your gone and nobody knows me like you, you were my half. We shared clothes even though they were too big. Your My happiness when I am sad and my strength when I am weak. Our talks that lasted 2hours under the stars and over the phone. The conversations that were never repeated. My reason for making people happy. I'm a little you. I am lost with out you. I am empty. I miss you more each day.

I love you DAD.

I haven't seen X for many years but I do remember the time he grew his hair really long and put the top part in a rubberband and then shaved the rest of his hair so he could go to a halloween party as a genie. He always had a smile and a big heart-that is my memory.
