KATHERINE GLENNON Obituary

GLENNON,
KATHERINE RUTH
Gainesville - Katherine Ruth Glennon died unexpectedly on November 29, 2018 at Shands Hospital. She was born February 3, 1954 in Manhattan, NY the daughter of Richard Glennon and Lorraine Keleher.
Katherine raised her two children in Portsmouth, NH and worked as a seamstress and financial advisor. In the year 2000 she moved to Gainesville where she worked at the Hippodrome theater and at the University of Florida School of theater and Dance teaching sewing and costume design to students.
Katherine was a lover of life, kind, spirited, thoughtful and rebellious. She thought outside the box and brought heart and soul to all she touched. She was a talented musician, avid gardener and delightful cook, she loved clothing design, good books and music, thoughtful conversation and spending time with loved ones. She loved her children and family. She passed too young and will be greatly missed by the many people she genuinely touched with her beautiful spirit.
Katherine was predeceased by her father Richard Glennon. She is survived by her two children Zachary Givens and Jeanne Givens, her grandsons Jackson Givens and Jove McKay her mother Lorraine, brothers Richard, David, Michael and Patrick and sisters Babette, and Maura many nieces and nephews and a large group of loving friends.
There will be a service in her honor this June on the seacoast of New Hampshire.
