Vickie Sayers Obituary

Vickie L. Sayers, 70, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at her home.

Born January 22, 1955 in Washington DC, the daughter of George M. Jr., and Shirley J. (Pentz) Sayers of Clearfield.

She was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School and Penn State, Altoona.

Ms. Sayers had worked for John Wanamaker as a department manager. She was also a recruiter and trainer for Bealls Department Stores in Florida, Mississippi and South Carolina.

Vickie made custom jewelry and sold it at the Anderson Street Farmers Market. People looked forward to her whimsical hats and outfits. She was loved at the Market and will be sorely missed.

Vickie is survived by her parents, two brothers: Mark Sayers and his wife Kimberly and Mike Sayers and his wife Bunny, all of Woodland, several nieces and nephews and loved playing with her great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the West Side United Methodist Church, Clearfield on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Paul Bowers officiating. Interment will be in Rockton Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the West Side United Methodist Church, 317 Nichols Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
