To David, Paul, Michael, Marnie, Mark, I am very saddened to learn of your dad's passing. My heart is heavy. To the entire Cheplick family, may fond memories comfort all of you. He touched the lives of many in a most positive way. I will always remember Dave not only as my guidance counselor but a good family friend who liked to enjoy a good cigar and a shot of whiskey with my dad. May the Good Lord wrap his loving arms around all of you and assure you that you will all be reunited again one day. With sincere condolences.

You are on your way home Uncle Dave. Back to a place where I reminisce of earlier times. A time when we played Sunday afternoon basketball, ski jumped down the hill of your front yard, and played football with your boys , nephews and neighbors in the back. A place where the earliest hours of Easter and latest hours of Thanksgiving were celebrated. A place where the stress of aligning a misaligned Christmas tree trunk blossomed into hours of laughter from the stories of creative process to do so. A place where you taught and guided numerous students how to succeed. A place where you volunteered numerous hours to make it a better one. A place where you'll remain loved and respected. Your on your way home now Uncle Dave, and I'm sure Aunt Mary is anxiously waiting. Love you - from your nephew - Thomas and family

Dear Cheplick Family,,My Condolence to your family, Mr Cheplick was a firm but very kind man,, He was my Guidance Counselor for 4 years,, He guided me through some very hard times in my life until I went into the Marine Corps,, He tried to talk me out of it but I knew in my heart I had too. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was one of the greatest influences of my high school life, and probably the reason I lived through those years. Blessings and comfort to all the family at this difficult time.

To my Cheplick cousins and your families,
Wonderful memories of Uncle Dave and my godmother Aunt Mary at your house on "the hill". As we all know we had the best Aunts and Uncles, Grandparents, and Cousins. Uncle Dave told the best campfire ghost stories and made the best soup!
Memory Eternal Uncle Dave.
