Dennis Christian Obituary
Born on April 29, 1928, in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Dennis B. and Florence (Reinard) Christian, Sr.
On July 23, 1949, he married his wife of 66 years, Belva Jean (Sturm) Christian. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2018.
He was a 1947 graduate of Sandy High School.
Dennis retired as the shipping foreman at Triangle Springs after over a 50-year career.
He was a past member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church, where he had been a member of the Methodist Men and was a Sunday School superintendent. Dennis, along with his late wife, Belvie, were members of the Gateway Squares, square dance club. Dennis was loved by all, and will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his son, Allen Christian of Pittsburgh, PA; and his daughter, Greta Notto of Reynoldsville, PA; two step grandsons, Mark and Greg Notto; and two step great-grandchildren, Natasha and Amanda.
Along with his wife, Dennis was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and a son-in-law, Louis Notto.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home, with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Christ the King Manor, 1100 West Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
