Saturday, September 26, 2020, your in-law family will gather to mark the passing of another of the brothers of your precious wife, Brenda. Please know, in whatever realm you might know or learn of us, your memory--and that of all those who perished on September 11--will never be forgotten. We will never forget, whether Valley Forge, the Alamo, Gettysburg, Belleau Wood, Pearl Harbor, Chosin Reservoir, Berlin, September 11, Baghdad...or another campaign where American lives were demanded by a fanatical enemy, w.e. w.i.l.l. n.e.v.e.r. f.o.r.g.e.t.

Jimmy, you are so missed. You were a great husband. You loved me, spoiled me rotten and kept me smiling. You loved me more than I had ever been loved before, unconditionally. You are in my thoughts every day. Love you still. Love, Brenda

Roy Orbinson songs, wires all over the room, riding around in a falcon with a record player in the back seat on 4 inch springs, "somalie", butterscotch candies, laugh and a smile with a mumble. That was my big brother. I miss you so much. Always in my heart.

To the family of James Lynch:
James gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our heroes of September 11 be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you.

Jim, There is no doubt you are missed terribly by Brenda, your children, and friends. We use to walk in 2-3 times a week from the parking lot to start a new day as you would tell me about your family vacations, rose garden, and yes, NASCAR. As a friend to all, and the official "Candy Man" of the Pentagon, you're truly missed.

I worked the early shift on the e-ring for 4 years, only a few folks were around that time of the morning and only one had candy and said good morning sarge. He was like a ghost then, I only saw him in the mornings when I opened up and never saw him again until 911. Thanks for the candy and the wake-me-up. May God keep you and bless a very nice man.

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

I'm writing about Mr. Lynch for the 2996 Tribute project online. I've been looking for information about him, to write about the person he is, and what I've found is this - that he was a good, kind, decent man. I didn't personally know any of the 9/11 victims, but searching for James Lynch has made this much more personal for me. I wish peace to his family. I'm sorry for us all, that we lost this very special man. We need more like him, who know the value of a small and personal gesture, like giving a piece of candy to someone who's having a bad day. Rest in Peace

I never knew Mr. Lynch personally, I only knew him as the "Candy Man" who always had a smile and a Werther's Original for anyone who gave him a smile back or looked like they needed it... May his sweet soul eternally rest in peace.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I received the bracelet today with the name of James Lynch engraved on it. I pulled up his photo and began to cry. It makes me want to know so much more about him and his family....and I want them to know how much I care.

I'm afraid to clean out my summer purse. I know I will find one of the "Candy Man's" Wyrther's Originals in the bottom.

This is such a fantastic idea, my bracelet is for James Lynch's family. I have found that I have lifted his family in prayer more then once in the several hours that I have worn the bracelt. It is a constant reminder. May God be with and bless his as well as the other families.
