Nila Lynch Obituary
October 25, 1933 - March 12, 2026
Mrs. Nila Madge Lynch age 92 of Tazewell passed away peacefully at her son and daughters-in-laws' home on March 12, 2026. She was saved at an early age and was a member of the Little Mulberry Baptist Church.
Madge was preceded in death by her patents Clyde and Georgie Edens, the father of her children Clyde Butcher, husband Roy Lynch, son Marvin Butcher, granddaughter Nikki Butcher and great- great granddaughter Raylin Butcher, sisters Nancy and Sue, brother Hoy as well as other family members and special friends.
Madge is survived by her sons Tommy Butcher and Larry and wife Debbie Butcher. Her grandchildren Jamie and husband Lonnie, Chris and wife Jennifer and Leslie. Great grandchildren Derek and wife Macaley, Madison, John, Bethany and husband Alex, Austin, Brett, Devin, Garrett, Addison, Madison, Colton, Kendall and Spencer. Great-great grandchildren Remington, Emrielle, Camden, Athena and Dalan. She is also survived by her sisters Ruth Louthan, Betty and Joe Whitaker, Wanda and Ray Cinnamon, Phyllis Ramsey and Lois Brooks as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Madge spoke many times about being ready to go home. She wasn't speaking of her earthly home. Madge was speaking of her heavenly home. She was ready to meet her Lord and Saviour. She will be deeply missed by all, but we take comfort in knowing she is at peace.
The family will receive friends Friday March 13, 2026, at the Claiborne ~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel from 11am till 1pm with funeral services to follow at 1pm with the Rev. Tommy Louthan officiating. Music will be provided by Trey Louthan. Burial will follow the funeral in the Lynch Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Lonnie Wilder, Derek Goins, Chanse Belcher, Colton Collins, Chris Butcher and Austin Butcher.
