Thomas Eugene Lewis

Thomas Eugene Lewis, age 67, of North Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away, leaving a legacy of kindness, laughter, and hard work.

Born on November 3, 1958, in Damascus, Maryland, he was the son of the late Alfred Eugene Lewis and Lillie Honaker Lewis. Thomas was a dedicated equipment operator for many years before his retirement.

Thomas was a man of immense character, known for being big-hearted and always ready to lend a helping hand; he was truly the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He had a funny sense of humor and a gift for making people feel at home, always welcoming friends and strangers alike into his house. Above all, his greatest joy was his family, and he deeply loved his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Price, and his brothers, Jerry Lewis and Ronald Lewis.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Lewis of North Tazewell, VA; his children, Thomas E. McClain of North Tazewell, Daniel McClain of Raven, VA, Andrew McClain of Tazewell, and Jessica Carnavale of Maryland; and one sister, Deborah James. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Ethan Carnavale, Christian Kiser, Chloe Kiser, Chelsea Kiser, Chase Kiser, and Liam McDaniel.
