Michael Kinder Obituary
Born in Tazewell, Virginia, on January 5, 1953, he was the son of the late Columbus Herbert Kinder and Virginia Ann Dillow Kinder.
A lifelong resident of Tazewell and a 1973 graduate of Tazewell High School, Michael was defined by his tireless work ethic. He spent his career with VDOT as a general laborer and truck driver, earning a reputation as a man who wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty.
Known for his mischievous spirit, Michael was a legendary jokester who lived for a good prank. However, beneath the humor was a heart of gold; he was well known throughout the community for his willingness to drop everything to help someone in need. An avid outdoorsman, he found his greatest peace while hunting and fishing in the mountains he called home.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Kinder, and wife, Randi of Conway, SC.
His sister, Nancy Carol Kinder White
His brother, David Edward Kinder.
Per Michael's wishes, he will be cremated, and no formal services will be held.
