Kathy Lee Travis, 54, of Baytown, died after a brief illness at the home of her daughter in Crosby on Monday, October 31, 2011. She was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on May 7, 1957, to Robert Leonard Morrison and Peggy Jo Blalock Morrison. Kathy worked extensively in sales for several local retailers. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially the beach. Her family was her passion, particularly spending time with her two granddaughters, Eleanor and Meredith. Preceded in death by her father and her brother, Bobby Morrison; Kathy is survived by her daughter, Tiffany N. Randall and husband, Scott; mother, Peggy Jo Morrison; two grandchildren, Eleanor and Meredith Randall; brothers, Tim Morrison and wife, Michealene and Billy Morrison and wife, Jodie; nieces and nephews, Jeannie, Bryanna, Jon, Lucas and Cameron Morrison; and many other loving friends and family. She will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother and aunt. Family and friends will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011, in the Family Center of Crespo & Jirrels. At Kathy's request, memorials offerings may be made, in lieu of flowers, to her family to assist with end of life expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crespo & Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services, 6123 Garth Road, Baytown 77521, 281.839.0700.
