Fox Bradley M. Fox "Brad", a 5-year veteran Plymouth Township Police Officer, Badge#178, was tragically killed in the line of duty on September 13, 2012, the eve of his 35th birthday. Beloved husband of Lynsay (nee Mattozzi). Loving Father of Kadence as well as a child due in March. Loving son of Thomas J. and Kathy Lynn Fox. Brother and Best Man of James W. (Melissa). Grandson of William and Betty Beans, Helen Fox, Mary Valeri and Milicent Besso. Son in law of Eileen P. and Mark Mattozzi, Brother in Law of Brittany Mattozzi. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins. Brad was a gifted hockey player, playing for The Glaciers, Junior Flyers and William Tennent High School. He continued to play and most recently played for the SLUGS and the Blueliners. He was a SSgt. in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years and completed two tours, 2003 in Iraq and 2005-2006 in Fallujah. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Presidential Unit Citation, Selected Marine Corp Reserve (X3) Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and The Armed Forces Reserve Medal. Brad was a 5-year veteran of the Plymouth Township Police Department and recently graduated from the Philadelphia Police Canine Academy with his partner Nick (a Belgian Malinois). He was awarded several citations for Service, Bravery and Valor. Relatives, friends, Police and all first responders are invited to share in Brad's Life Celebration Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 PM and Wednesday from 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Rd. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Brad's memory to the Fox Children's Fund, C/O Continental Bank, 661 Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462, would be appreciated by his family.
