It was a big loss when Mary passed on. But it felt great to have had the chance to know her - from that first meeting at Ohio State U. in Columbus to the many years at the Dept. of Foreign Languages at San Antonio College

I grew up with Eileen(my dads cousin) and Mary in San Antonio and have wonderful memories of them comning over to the house on Sundays for BBQ and swimming. We loved going to their home for Spaghetti dinners and swim parties. All 6 kids thought of Eileen and Mary as our Aunts. Mary was such a sweet and loving lady. She will be missed

Rest in peace, Aunt Mary. Our family is spread far and wide but we take great solace in that we're all still family together. We will miss you and are grateful for your life.

Madame Zang I looked for you. I have been teaching French 32 years now I wanted you to know. Finally I have found you my dear teacher and friend. Oh how blessed I am to have had you as my teacher. I love you dearly my sweet Madame. I have the book you carried with you all the time you taught me. Only God knew I always wanted to see it and 5 years ago I found it in a bookroom, I wept because God let me hold it as I teach my kids. Rest in Peace my Dear. Pray for me as you meet with Jesus and I will pray for your family I know they will miss you. Thank you for your kindness and for preparing me to continue sharing our love for the French language. Your student, Marina Redgate Garcia
