Brenda Harden, 57, of Chattanooga, passed away suddenly on Oct. 26, 2016, in a local hospital. Mrs. Harden was a very faithful member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church where she served in several capacities including Vice President of the Choir and on the Pastoral Aide Committee. She was also a long term, dedicated employee of Panni Presto Cleaners. Mrs. Harden was preceded by her parents, Annie Mae Tucker and Paul Mason; grandmother, Marion Womble; brother, Allen Lee Tucker; son, Antonio Tucker, and mother-in-law, Josephine Callahan. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Jerry Harden, Sr.; one daughter, LaShanda Jones; six sons, Joshua Cox, Allen Tucker, Frederick (Gloria) Tucker, Jerry Harden, Jr., Jamar Harden, and Tarell Harden all of Chattanooga; daughter-in-law, Juanita Tucker; four brothers, Robert (Adelia) Tucker, William (Shirley) Tucker, Pastor Ronald (Mary Ann) Tucker, all of Chattanooga, and Elder Marvin (Carlene) Tucker, of Rossville, Ga.; four sisters, Wanda Bull, Marilyn (Leon) Cope, Marian Tucker Leslie, and Kay Martin, all of Chattanooga; one uncle, Arthur (Lorraine) Womble, Jr.; one aunt, Beverly (Roland) Smith; five great-grandchildren; 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends; and one special close friend, Robin Brooks. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at noon at Olivet Baptist Church with Elder Marvin Tucker officiating and Pastor Ronald Tucker as the eulogist. Interment - Forest Hills Cemetery. The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
