George Sauer Obituary

George was born on October 29, 1923 and passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016. George was a resident of Aurora, Ohio at the time of his passing. George had a Bachelorâs Degree from Union College Schenectady NY and a Masters of Civil Engineering from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute Troy NY. He served during World War II in the Army Corps of Engineers. He was married to Martha. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday December 28 2016 at Hope Lutheran Church 456 S Chillicothe Rd Aurora OH. Burial will be at Albany Rural Cemetery Albany N.Y. at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers please send donations to The Nature Conservancy Adirondack Land Trust http:www.adirondacklandtrust.orgDonate.

Sorry to hear George had passed away. Although we rarely communicated in recent years, I remember him well, especially memories with his wife Martha. She and George were in high school classes with me.
