You will be missed by so many Charlie. I was fortunate to meet you by way of daughter Jodene. Your love of family, home and country was evident in your actions and words. Rest in Peace dear friend.

Dear Jodene, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I too loved to work out at Lakeshore when I lived in Vancouver. When he was a working at NP I had a chance to inter act with him a few times. He was a well respected operator and I detected a certain twinkle in his eye whenever I would ask him a doumb question. May he Rest In Peace. Steve Vanderford, Takua Pa, Thailand

You were the best Dad a daughter could have had. Always so patient and kind.
I was so fortunate to have had you all of my life, you are missed dearly. I will cherish all of my memories, of our time together. Remember Dad...call me if you need me. I love you.

Charlie was one of my favorite people at Lake Shore Athletic Club. He never failed to stop by to say "hi" every time he came in. He holds a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this extremely hard time.

Charlie was a frequent visitor at Lake Shore where I work. Getting to see him every morning was a highlight for me. He was one of the sweetest people I've had the pleasure of talking to, however brief that was. I miss him already. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
