Mike. I will never forget the day we met. You brought so much joy into my life over the years. You looked at my 3 Children as if they were your own, and they grew to love you beyond words! Then the Grandkids came along. You had a spark in your eye that I will never forget with each and everyone of them. You loved them from the day they were born until the day you died. The love and caring you had for them was like no other, you had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known! The kids love and miss their Grandpa every single day and it's just not the same without you and never will be. We will never forget you and will always cherish all the wonderful memories we had together with you and there were many! We will always remember what you told us, and that is to never forget to stop and look at the stars. You were such an inspiration to all of us, and we will hold on to everything you ever taught us in life. You were such a blessing, and now heaven has another Angel Micheal. I know you are still around me, I can feel you. I know you are watching over the kids, they feel it and so do I. We lost you way to soon, and my heart will never be the same. The very week I tried to leave a telephone message, after years of looking, my childhood friend of innumerable "sticker fort" adventures passes away. I am sad beyond words now, we will never get to "catch up" and reminisce the way childhood friends are meant to.
Does Darin remember Mike and I teasing him occasionally, calling him "Durwood"- as in he Bewitched TV show; Agatha's (Sam's mom) pet name for her son-in-law... you all had the cutest little dog then, too, on Wychwood- a quiet "no bark" Basenji.
I was lucky to meet Donald and Louise by chance one night, ages ago, before we all lost touch- and moved away; you all were living there in South Charleston in that gorgeous two story on the hill.
So sorry, it's just not fair. Peace and love, friends. The Good family will forever be fondly remembered. Contact me anytime, as you wish.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Mike. Mike and I went to high school together. He and I always would make each other laugh.
