Hi to maribel, carl , Madison and the rest of your family,
I was just thinking of you and Carl the other day and then I saw this on my computer....Well, I am sure this has been a very difficult year for you.....But slowly slowly, i hope you are managing...Your life will never be the same, but knowing Carl is not suffering should help...... But ofcourse it has to be very very hard.....
I hope you will start if you havent already going on your vacations, visiting your family, etc....I hope Madison you are doing well....
Maribel, I know its been a long time since we have gotten together....I dont want you to think I forgot about you...I didnt...I have been sick...Nothing like what Carl had, but enough to cause a problem.....I will try to reach out to you in the fall..... So, take care...all of you and know that Carl will never be forgotten and always remembered with a smile because he was such a wonderful guy!!! Bless you...LOve, Ruth B.

I was very saddened to hear of Carl's passing. I will always remember his bright smile and kind heart. Being part of the NHMS staff I was fortunate to work with him. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

I am crying on the outside right now thinking about Carl, but also smiling on the inside remembering the joy I experienced helping Carl with his schoolwork and preparing for his driving test. And ofcourse, bearing witness to the growth he demonstrated. He was fun and easy to work with and never really complained much about his serious health problems. However, he did tell me about your wonderful family vacations, the great restaurant meals he enjoyed and spending time with friends and relatives.
Your son and brother should have been with us longer, but thank goodness he was blessed with such a loving family and despite his illness was able to "enjoy" and knew he was deeply loved.
Still, I am deeply sorry for your loss. But, perhaps, Carl is in a better place now ( no more pain/ no more operations, etc.)...Ofcourse in spirit, soul and heart, he will always be a part of you and be with you ( and all who were fortunate enough to know him) forever....... God Bless.....
