I met Pat in 1992 while working at her brother's restaurant in Wellfleet on the Cape. We became fast friends over the next 4 years while I performed music there. Pat had an wonderful sense of humor and really lit up the room with her presence. Our friendship continued long after she left the restaurant business and although I rarely got to see her, we talked on the phone and exchanged Facebook messages on occasion. I will always miss my friend, aka "Betty Bickerson", and may her spirit always be with us.
