Laura Proctor Obituary
WEST BOYLSTON-Laura P. (Gates) Proctor, 99, of West Boylston, died Saturday, July 5, in Oakdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after illness.
Her husband, Ora E. Proctor, died in 1983. She leaves three daughters, Clare E. Whitney, Lillian Symonowicz and Lois Ann Bagdis, all of West Boylston; two sons, Lee B. Proctor of Westboro and Norman B. Proctor of Oceanside, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a nephew. She was born in Princeton, daughter of James B. and Clare L. (Blanding) Gates, and lived here 49 years.
She was a member of St. Michael's on the Heights Church in Worcester.
The funeral and burial will be held at the family's convenience. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's on the Heights Church, 340 Burncoat St., Worcester, MA 01606; or to Oakdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, West Boylston, MA 01583. Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St. (www.faybrothers.com), is directing arrangements.
