Mere words cannot express the thoughts of this moment. May the Almighty hold Ruth in the palms of His healing hands. Prayers for my friend.

So sorry to hear this. Ruthie was such a loving and caring person. No question that she is dancing with Jesus. My condolences to Doug and the kids.

Ruthie fought her cancer battle very bravely. I will miss the smiles and hugs she generously shared. You and your family are very special to me, and I send prayers of healing and comfort to all of you.

My thoughts & prayers & love go to you Doug & the girls & their families. I always loved Ruthie dearly & will always remember her coming to the rescue & wearing my bridesmaid dress for Nancys wedding. We were both pregnant just I was a little farther along but she looked beautiful
I love this thought.....

Sorry for the Loss. Ruthie was always nice to the young knucklehead across the street. I particlarily remember a highlight as a kid, swimming with Lanier sisters, who had the only pool, at night. Jim Delaney.
