Mr. Russell J. "Russ" Long Sr.

Russell J. Long Sr., of Levittown, PA, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at the age of 74. A proud Army Veteran, Russell was born in Philadelphia, to the late Russell B. and Marian Long. He worked for PennDOT for 35 years and was the owner of Custom Trophies and Fly Tackle in Levittown. Russell was also very active in his community; he was a devote parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and former Cub Scout Leader of Pack 121. Russell was an avid wood worker and outdoorsman who loved spending time at his home away from home in Potter County with his dog, Schultz. Preceded in Death by his brother-in-law, Frank Wladich, Russell is survived by his beloved wife of 51 yrs, Maria (nee DeStolfo) Long, his children, Russell J. (Tracie) Long Jr., Christine (John) Reina, and Theresa (Chris) Moore, and his 9 amazing grandchildren, John, Hannah, Ryan, Abbie, Sarah, Ty, Christopher, Kyle, and Kevin. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Wladich and Miriam (William) Embrico, nephew, Billy, and extended family members. Family and friends are invited to Russell's Life Celebration on Friday, July 23, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 66 Levittown Pkwy., Levittown, PA 19054, from 9 AM - 10 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment will be held privately at the request of his family.
