Norma J. Plank

Plank 1930~2021 Norma J. (nee McCausland) age 91, a longtime resident of Chester County, entered into Eternal Rest on September 2, 2021. Norma was a graduate of Downingtown High School and the Chester County Hospital School of Nursing where she received her Registered Nurse Certificate. She was a life long member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church and very active in various church activities such as the annual smorgasbord dinner, the Hope–Two's, Helping Hands, which was a group that provided assistance to church members, Nursery School volunteer, prepared bulletins, and was a communion steward. For many years she was a member of the Downingtown Women's Club, and volunteered at the Chester County Hospital. Norma also was a member of the East Brandywine Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and an East Brandywine Township Community volunteer. Beloved wife of the late Edward H. Plank. Loving daughter of the late John C. and Mary (nee Piersol) McCausland, devoted sister of the late Jane M. Holbrook and Alan H. McCausland. Survived by her loving children Thomas E. Plank (Shui Qiong Huang), Deborah Colantuono (Joseph), and William W. Plank (Leanne Miller), her adoring grandchildren Joseph A. Colantuono (Erin), Tara C. Colantuono (Tony Miglionico), Jackson Plank, Richard Cristaldi and Xiao You Lin (Ellen Wu); also, her cherished great grandchildren Eleanor and Ashley. Relatives and Friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday Evening September 10th 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave. Downingtown, PA. Relatives and friends are also invited to her Viewing Saturday Morning September 11th (ALL IN CHURCH) from 9:30 -10:45AM with Funeral Service to follow 11:00AM at the Hopewell United Methodist Church 852 Hopewell Road, Downingtown, PA.
