William Farley Obituary
William "Bill" Farley, 95, of New Castle, passed away, January 11, 2026, at his residence.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 50 years, Josephine "Jo" (Jones) Farley; sons, Kirk (Deb) Farley, and Kyle Farley; daughters, Bev (Charlie) Carr, Lisa (Rick) Mustaine, and Vicky Hattley; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Sproles Family Funeral Home. Burial will be Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at South Mound Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2025 at the funeral home. You may send the family a personal condolence at www.sproles familycares.com.

Mr. Farley was a wonderful man and I enjoyed him as a teacher. He learned I was born in Kentucky and we would have conversations about Kentucky and sports. Rest easy dear sir!
