Eversole released his debut album, “Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style,” in 2002, when he was just 17. It included “We Ready,” which became a popular and enduring game day anthem to hype up athletes and fans. The chorus of “We Ready” is sung to the tune of the 1969 song “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye,” a No. 1 hit for Steam. In 2018, Eversole released “United We Conquer,” a theme song for the Major League Soccer team Atlanta United.
RIP @archieeversole 💔 Always so kind, always a smile on your face. Sports team fans around the world will sing your anthem for years to come, but it will forever mean something extra special to #ATLUTD fans. Like you always told me, “it’s OUR (ATL) song!” 🥺⚽️ @ATLUTDpic.twitter.com/woCzIin3Ww
Damn RIP to Archie Eversole, the man who changed high school football games especially forever with “We Ready.” Rest in Power, brother.

RIP Archie Eversole. Gone far too soon. My alarm on my phone is We Ready, cause what better way to start the day than with that in my head. Had to make sure this scarf was out in remembrance. Prayers for all his family, friends and fans. pic.twitter.com/XYWNDsflBr
