Bob Berrye28099s legacy

Berry was a college football star at the University of Oregon, where he was named a first team All-American his senior year. He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1964 NFL Draft, but they traded him to the Vikings, where he debuted in 1965. Berry first started a game in 1966, but his first three seasons with the Vikings were unremarkable, and he was traded to the Falcons. From 1968 to 1972, Berry was a frequent starting quarterback for the Falcons, and he was a 1969 Pro Bowl pick. After being traded back to the Vikings in 1973, Berry helped lead the team to Super Bowls VIII, IX, and XI, though the Vikings lost all three. He retired after the 1976 season.
