Brett Hadley’s legacy

Hadley played Carl Williams on “The Young and the Restless” from 1980 to 1990 and again in 1998 and 1999, appearing in 216 episodes. His character was the father of longtime character Paul Williams, a private investigator played by Doug Davidson. Hadley’s acting career also included appearances on such TV shows as “Room 222,” “The F.B.I.,” “The Waltons,” “Marcus Welby, M.D.,” “The Incredible Hulk,” and “Beauty and the Beast.” He also had movie roles in “The Mad Bomber,” “Funny Lady,” “Maid to Order,” and others.
