Rap career
Fred the Godson broke out in 2010 with his mixtape titled “Armageddon.” He was named to XXL Magazine’s 2011 freshman class with future superstars Kendrick Lamar and Mac Miller (who passed away in 2018). He continued to release music some which included appearances by Meek Mill, PUSHA-T, and Diddy. His latest release “Payback” just came out last month.
On his inclusion in the XXL 2011 freshman class
“I call that the all-star game. You work through the year and you just keep going, and they just call you out for your individual accolades. The top 11 met up, and that was just crazy to me. That’s the biggest thing thus far to happen to Fred the Godson.” —2016 interview with Breakfast Club
