Jamba Juice Statement:
It’s with a heavy heart that we share news of the passing of Jamba’s founder, Kirk Perron, on June 20 in Palm Springs, CA. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. Kirk founded Juice Club in 1990, at 26 years old, as a neighborhood smoothie shop with the idea that eating better should be easy. From Juice Club’s first location in San Luis Obispo, CA to its evolution to Jamba Juice in 1995, Kirk’s vision and passion for giving customers a fun experience and great tasting smoothies propelled Jamba to becoming the iconic 800+ unit global brand it is today. In 2006, Kirk passed the blender and we will continue to carry on his dream. In Kirk’s memory, and in honor of his years-long relationship with and commitment to the school, we’ll be making a donation to The Jamba Juice / Kirk Perron Scholarship Fund at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
