Pace sang both as a solo artist and with her eight sisters in the gospel group the Anointed Pace Sisters. She released her debut solo album, “He Lives,” in 1990, featuring the song that would become her signature number, “I Know I’ve Been Changed.” Pace had another hit in 1996 with “Act Like You Know,” which recently had renewed popularity when it became part of a Tik Tok trend. In 2003, Pace published her autobiography, “For My Good but for His Glory.”

I don’t think it’s possible to have had an authentic Black church experience and not have been impacted by the Pace family, specifically LaShun Pace. Her voice is among those that define our sound.
With the passing of Ms. Lashun Pace, I’m really glad y’all recirculated her voice & 90’s Black Gospel to the world through Tik Tok. 90’s Gospel will always be superior.
