At least 18 people have died, and others are injured, in a series of shootings that took place across multiple locations in Lewiston, Maine, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
More lives have been lost than in any other shooting in Maine’s history.
Here are the names of those who died:
Tricia Asselin, 53. She was bowling in a league at Sparetime Recreation.
Billy Brackett, 48. He was attending a cornhole event for deaf athletes at Schemengees Bar & Grille.
Peyton Brewer-Ross, 40. He was an employee of Bath Iron Works.
Thomas Conrad, 34. He was a U.S. Army veteran who attempted to stop the shooter.
Michael Deslauriers II, 51. He was bowling at Sparetime Recreation.
Maxx Hathaway, 35. He was playing pool at Schemengees Bar and Grille.
Bryan MacFarlane, 41. A truck driver, he was attending a cornhole event for deaf athletes at Schemengees Bar & Grille.
Keith Macneir, 64. He was a resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who was visiting his son and went to Schemengees Bar & Grille with him.
Ronald G. Morin, 55. He was a longtime employee of Coca-Cola.
Joshua Seal, 36. He was a deaf interpretor who was attending a cornhole event for deaf athletes at Schemengees Bar & Grille.
Arthur Strout, 42. He was playing pool at Schemengees Bar & Grille.
Bob Violette, 76. He was a bowling instructor who was teaching children at Sparetime Recreation.
Lucille Violette, 73. She was a longtime employee of the Lewiston School Department.
Steve Vozzella, 45. He was attending a cornhole event for deaf athletes at Schemengees Bar & Grille.
Jason Walker, 51.
Joseph Walker, 57. He was working at Schemengees Bar & Grille, where he was a manager.
Aaron Young, 14. He was a high school student who was bowling at Sparetime Recreation with his father, who was also killed.
Bill Young, 44. A father of three, he was bowling at Sparetime Recreation with his son, who was also killed.
