Lil Keed was an Atlanta rapper who was a protégé of Young Thug who was signed to Young Thug’s Young Stoner Life record label. Lil Keed was born Raqhid Jevon Render in Atlanta and decided to become a rapper as a teenager after a friend’s death. Fellow Atlanta native and rap star Young Thug took Lil Keed under his wing and signed him to his label. He released his debut album “Long Live Mexico” in 2019 and followed that up in 2020 with the album “Trapped on Cleveland 3.” His song “Nameless” hit number 42 on the Billboard Hip Hop/R&B chart.
