Matt Byars’s legacy
Byars first appeared on “Real Housewives of Potomac” in the reality show’s 2018 third season. He was an assistant to one of the show’s stars, “grande dame” Karen Huger, who he had known since before “RHOP” began to air. In that season, he was in one of the show’s most notorious episodes, supporting Huger as she held a press conference about her finances.
Byars continued to appear with Hugar on “Real Housewives;” he was in a total of 26 episodes across six years. Most recently, he showed up in the February 2024 episode titled “Blazed and Confused.”
