Thompson built her social media following sharing makeup tutorials on YouTube, as well as photos of the results on Instagram. Her YouTube channel has 170,000 subscribers. Thompson also collaborated with makeup company Sydney Grace to create the Tiny Marvels eyeshadow palette, featuring tattoo-inspired packaging and shades named for insects. Her most recent video was posted just two days before her death.
