The Horse Whisperer
Nicholas Evans worked as a newspaper reporter and television screenwriter. His debut novel “The Horse Whisperer” was released in 1995 and became a bestseller, selling millions of copies. The book was adapted by Robert Redford into a popular movie in 1998 which he directed and starred in along with Scarlett Johannson. “The Horse Whisperer” tells the story of a trainer who helps an injured teenager and her horse regain their health. Evans other books include “The Brave,” “The Loop” and “The Smoke Jumper.”
