Pat Goss (2022), longtime “MotorWeek” mechanic

Pat Goss was a mechanic and TV personality who hosted the “Goss’ Garage” segment on the PBS show “MotorWeek” for more than 40 years.

Auto maintenance guru

Goss began appearing on “MotorWeek” on the show’s first episode in 1981. His “Goss’ Garage” segment offered a wide variety of auto maintenance tips. Goss also shared his knowledge on his YouTube channel as well as on his radio talk show. He continued producing “Goss’ Garage” segments for more than 40 years, with his most recent appearance coming just a day before his death. In addition to his TV and radio work, Goss owned Goss’ Garage, an auto repair shop in Maryland.
