Ryan Brent Ross passed away January 15, 2021 peacefully in his sleep, in the company of his family. Loved by many, he was a special man that knew how to make a bad day better and full of laughter.

He was born February 14, 1976 to Diana L. Ross and Ralph Carpio. He was raised alongside siblings Sirena and Nicole by his dad Craig Jessop and mom Diana.

Ryan enjoyed spending time with family and close friends; be it outdoors, camping, fishing, target practicing or in his home for football games or a new movie.

On February 13, 2009 he married Alysha M. Stratton, though they had already spent years together in love and companionship.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ali and Ione Ross, Wayne and Arlene Colvin, his dad Craig Jessop, Aunt Cindy Webb, cousin Heidi Thomas and father-in-law C. Lee Stratton.

He is survived by his mother Diana L. Ross, wife Alysha Ross, daughter Sierra Stratton, son Dustin (Toni) Clark, granddaughter, Weslynn Clark, sister Sirena (Jay) Legarra, sister Nicole (Haven) Landes, brother Brian (Jen) Swenson, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who were such a large and important part of his life, and by his oldest and best friend Scott Mushrush, along with all the other good friends who he always called the family he chose.

This is not goodbye, we will meet again.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
