Gary Lee Miller died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025. Born May 13th, 1952, in Ogden, Utah, our husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend will be greatly missed by all.

Gary joined the Navy at 17 and served 10 1/2 years as an aircraft hydraulic mechanic. Leaving the military as an E6. Returning to Utah he worked at GSL mineral and mining for a few years and various other jobs including his co-owned mechanic shop with his cousin. He was hired at Hill Air Force Base and worked there until he retired in 2002. At retirement he became a full-time farmer raising a variety of animals and birds as well as his beloved bison. Gary always loved general tinkering with different projects and always a mechanic he worked on cars trucks and anything with an engine. Later in life he enjoyed traveling to Nascar in his RV with his wife Dawn. Because of his passion for Nascar he made his children and grandchildren big fans.

Surviving are his current wife, Dawn [Sullivan} Miller; his second wife, Kim Miller; and his first wife, Jeannie Tremea. Five sons: Randy {Wendi} Miller, Willie {Amber} Miller, Robert {Becky} Miller, David {Steffine} Miller, and Patrick {Angela} Miller; thirteen grandchildren: Jakob, Maranda, Nathan, Marc, NyKole, Kynlee, Austin, Stephanie, Teresa, Monique, Brooklyn, Gary, and Evin; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, C. Lynn Hill and Vicki Henderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland Earl Miller, Carol Sharon Poole, Ruby Gwenth Dow Rudd; brothers Robert Miller and Richard Miller; and sisters, Kathy Newman Ellen Miracle and Linda Weaver.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 18th at Slaterville Park, 250 N 2250 W St, Marriott-Slaterville Ut from 12 pm -2pm. Everyone is encouraged to wear bib overalls if you have them as Gary was rarely seen without them.
