Audrie & Daisy
Coleman was sexually assaulted at a party in 2012 when she was 14 years old. Audrie Potts was sexually assaultedthe same year as a teenagerand died by suicide 10 days after thecrime. The documentarylooked atthe trauma theincidentscaused their families andthesubsequentonline bullying and rejection in their communities. The movie was directed by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016.

Update: On December 6, 2020, Coleman's mother, Melinda Coleman, died by apparent suicide. She was a veterinarian who had lost her husband in a car accident in 2009 and one son to a car accident in 2018, as well as losing Daisy four months before her death.
