“I Like to Move It”
Morillo was a DJ and producer who made music in the early 1990s using the alias Reel 2 Real. In 1993, he teamed up with Trinidadian singer the Mad Stuntman for the dance floor sensation “I Like to Move It.” The track appeared in the animated film “Madagascar.” He started his own record label called Subliminal Records, releasing a full-length album and many singles. In July Morillo was arrested for battery, a charge he denied. He was due in court this Friday.
