Green Acres was a TV staple for six years, from 1965 to 1971. Gabor played Lisa Douglas 1a8094 glamour-girl-turned-good-sport 1a8094 who, on the whim of her husband (played by Eddie Albert), was whisked from the high life in Manhattan to a rather bizarre farm. Viewers loved seeing the glamorous Gabor do farm chores wearing city finery and giggled as her character made hotcakes for every meal.

Before Green Acres, Gabor appeared on TV in shows like What's My Line? and her own short-lived talk show, The Eva Gabor Show. She also took small parts in several movies, like The Last Time I Saw Paris.

And there was life in Gabor's career after Green Acres as well. Her distinctively cosmopolitan voice was a perfect addition to animated movies like The Aristocats, The Rescuers, and The Rescuers Down Under.

Eva Gabor would have turned 93 today, had she not died of pneumonia in 1995. But to this day, she 1a8094 along with her sisters Zsa Zsa and the late Magda 1a8094 remains a symbol of glamour and beauty.
