Born Dec. 27, 1901, Marlene Dietrich was a Christmas-season baby. I've got a couple of those in my own family, so I know about the heartbreak that comes with the combined "Christmas and birthday" gift. Here's hoping that the great star of stage and screen never had to double up on her holidays.

Thanks to this lovely holiday montage, we can remember both Christmas and Dietrich's birthday at the same time. Merry Christmas!
